Former Nairobi County Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe is allegedly Equity Bank’s Chief Commercial Officer after his business card leaked online.
Reports indicate that he is yet to be confirmed but will be before the end of May.
He resigned citing his failure to earn the trust of his boss, Governor Mike Sonko and that this had hindered efforts to manage and administer City Hall operations.
Igathe, formerly of Vivo Energy was reportedly poised to take over from ex-Nation Media Group CEO Joe Muganda.
