Igembe South newly elected Member of Parliament John Paul Mwirigi surprised many after disclosing that he boarded a matatu to his National Assembly orientation tour.
Mr Mwirigi intimated that he walked from down town Nairobi to the National Assembly.
He said that he was just from school and would try his best to familiarize himself with the parliamentary proceedings.
The Igembe South Legislator was not the favorite candidate but the win could be attributed to his vigorous door to door campaigns.

He is the youngest member of parliament at the tender age of 23.
