    Immigration Officer Imprisoned For Sneaking Nigerian Drug Kingpin

    ImmigrationAn immigration officer was who had allowed a Nigerian who had been deported alongside controversial businessman Chinedu has been imprisoned.Edward Kabiu Njau has been sentenced to seven months in prison for sneaking back the Nigerian.

    He had denied in the charge last year. Assistant Director of migration ,Mr. D.N Wambilyanga had said that Mr. Anaeke Chimezie who had been deported for being a drug king pin had sneaked back in through the Namanga border in Kajiado county.

    In 2013 the immigration officer and the airplane that had escorted the drug lord Chinedu and his counterpart Chimezie was detained in Nigeria until the government was forced to intervene for its release.
