It is on Valentine’s Day that at least one billion cards are sent across the world making it the second largest card sending holiday after Christmas.
It is also the day that flower vendors make a killing and men, well, they are forced to spend twice as much on gifts.
But it is also on this very romantic day that things quickly go south for those not willing to go all out for their significant other or others; we live in interesting times.
In a video seen by Kahawa Tungu, a couple was seen getting into a fight while on a date at an undisclosed Nairobi restaurant.
The woman, a Slayqueen of some sort picks a fight with her boyfriend who is late for their date, yet she was apparently hungry.
“Do you want me to eat flowers? Where is the food?” she says as she looks on to an empty table.
In the 38 seconds video filmed secretly by a reveler, the hangry (so hungry that she gets angry) woman raises her voice at the apologetic man making sure to let him know that he was not the only one asking her out.

“Do you think you’re the only man asking me out today?” she poses.
Trying to salvage what was left of the date, the man hands her flowers; cheap flowers we might add, and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
The lady throws the flowers on the floor and dejectedly walks out of the restaurant, leaving the man in distress.
With disbelief etched all over his face, the man picks the flowers from the floor.
