
Jacaranda hotel has been re-opened after being declared cholera free.
The hotel management complied with the Health Ministry directive, said Nairobi county deputy director of public health, Jairus Musumba.
āIt is hereby certified that the Jacaranda hotel has complied with the minimum provisions of the Public Health Act,ā read the compliance certificate in part.

Tourism Cabinet Secretary, Najib Balala and Health CS Cleopa Mailu handed over the certificate to the hotelās management and enjoyed a meal at the eatery.

It was shut down on 17 July following a cholera outbreak at KICC. San Valencia hotel was also closed down on the same day and has remained closed till now.
