    Lawyer James Orengo Runs Away from Babu Owino’s Petition after ANC Candidate’s Testimony

    MP Babu Owino’s lawyer in the petition against his election, James Orengo, had to exit the court premises in a huff when one of the witnesses testifying disputed the MP’s account of the voting day events.

    According to ANC candidate in the August election, Joshua Obiende, he didn’t manage to vote as goons who were allied to MP Babu Owino assaulted him, forcing him to be taken to hospital and not vote.

    The testimony confirmed his oath in the sworn affidavit which was also filed in court.

    Joshua Obiende accused Babu Owino of assaulting him during the elections in a different case which is also in court.

    Babu Owino won the August 8th elections.
