Legislators of the Jubilee party have called on the Inspector general to arrest Siaya Senator James Orengo for treason.They allege that the senator said that Raila Odinga should be sworn in if Uhuru Kenyatta is declared the president.
The legislators led by Senator Njeru Ndwiga said that the NASA leader had not won any constitutional elections as the August elections were nullified by the supreme court.

James Orengo and Johnstone Muthama had said that they do not recognise Uhuru Kenyatta as their president as Raila Odinga was the head of state for the people.
Cecile Mbarire who has among the legislator accused NASA of imploring jungle tactis to clinch power, the leaders said that no agency will recognize a president that was not legally elected.
Charles Njagagua said that this move by James Orengo and Johnston Muthama was the direction the newly formed resistance movement was planning to undertake.
