    Jumia Kenya Launches Online Grocery Shop For Customer Convenience

    Online retailer Jumia Kenya have launched a new service dabbed Jumia Fresh, they have partnered with various fresh produce suppliers within Nairobi.

    They have said that the initiative is a way of making grocery shopping more convenient as shoppers would be able to shop for their groceries at the comfort of their homes or offices. The Jumia Managing Director said that those who purchase items above Sh. 500 would get the service without a delivery charge.

    “This is our way of bringing mama mboga closer to you by allowing you to shop at the best prices and at your convenience either from home or office, customers will get free delivery for Jumia Fresh orders above Kes 500,” said the MD  Sam Chapatte.

    Jumia fresh will be the first within the industry to deliver perishables. The company has also reduced the costs of delivery within Nairobi in order to make the the service affordable to all customers
