The government however through National Youth Service( NYS) director Mr. Ndubai claimed that the land belonged to NYS and that it was grabbed. Claims that the Wiper has strongly refuted.

The President  gave a directive that all land that was grabbed and belonged to the NYS be returned. The director gave a notice of 14 days to the owners that had been affected by the directive.
