kenya airwaysKenya Airways has announced that they will soon be discontinuing flights to two key cities in Asia.

According to reports, the move was made in an effort to improve the airlines network efficiency.

“This network change will also allow KQ to allocate more seats across its African network where the demand outlook remains strong and capacity insufficient on certain routes,” the airline said.

As a result, KQ will not be flying to Honk Khong and Hanoi as of next month.

Kenya Airways’ Chief Executive Sebastian Mikosz has confirmed that the airline will change its route but will continue to offer flights to Bangkok and Guangzhou.

Kenya Airways has been under a lot of pressure after suffering years of a decrease in revenue, this move can be seen as an attempt to revive the company from a financial standpoint
