In yet another ‘first’ for Kenyan soccer, betting firm BETIKA has announced a Soccer Commentary that will feature an online live stream audio to its customer, fans and soccer audiences globally.

The service will be accessed through their website and the firm’s Sports Betting Manager Mr. Kennedy Ochieng said the historic deal in partnership with talkSPORT, the world’s largest sports radio station is just a sign of good things to come.

TalkSPORT, based in London, United Kingdom, is owned by the Wireless Group and is the official Global Audio Partner of the English Premier League (EPL)

Betika Brand Manager, Mr. Patrick Wachira also hailed the partnership terming it as a monumental chance and opportunity for Kenyans to access and enjoy the English Premier League (EPL), which is undoubtedly the most vibrant, successful and competitive league in the world, at the comfort of their homes citing that many a times people lack easy accessibility.

TalkSPORT International Commercial Director, Mr. Rob Tomalin reiterated same sentiments:

‘We are the leading global soccer audio content and we welcome BETIKA into our fold for the 2017/2018 football season. Our unique audio coverage is renowned for its quality and ability to transport fans to the heart of action’

BETIKA is also giving back to local sports and after a torrid Kenya Premier League (KPL) 2016 campaign where they survived relegation and had bitter run-ins with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) in matters management and Club licensing, the firm unveiled SOFAPAKA in a Kenya Shillings 150,00,000, 3 Seasons Sponsorship deal.

With deep pockets, potent playing and managerial staff characterizing their 2017 KPL season, that saw SOFAPAKA President Elly Kalekwa recall former coach Sam Ssimbwa, the team is having the best ever run in their history since they won the league on their debut in 2009 and currently lie second to high flying leaders GOR MAHIA, well placed with the title on their sights.

SOFAPAKA FC popularly known as ‘Batoto Ba Mungu’ which loosely translates to ‘Children of God has rapidly seen their fortunes change through the sponsorship.
