Nandi Hills MP, Alfred Keter has been charged with 11 counts related to forgery, making a false document, conspiracy to defraud the Central Bank of Kenya.
He was charged alongside Desai Industries executives; Arthur Ingolo Sakwa and Madat Suburali Chatur.
The three were arraigned in court before Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
They spent the weekend at Muthaiga Police Station after they were apprehended at the Central Bank of Kenya on invitation of Governor Patrick Njoroge.

Keter through his lawyer said that the arrest was an attempt to cover up a “fraud committed against Desai Industries”. He also blamed his woes on his political rivals.
“I will not relent. I refuse to be intimidated and will not be cowed by those who seek to exploit Kenyans with impunity,” he said.
They has been released on a Sh2 million cash bail each.
