    Kogelo Marathon

Mama Sarah Obama believes that Mrs Margaret Kenyatta surely doesn’t have even a little bit of respect for her. The humble old lady has told close confidantes that what the Kenyan First Lady showed her true self when she didn’t honour an invitation she promised she will honour.

According to sources close to Mama Sarah Obama, the first lady visited the grandmother of the US President in November 2013 and promised to grace the launch of 2nd edition of K’Ogelo Marathon which is meant to support widows and orphans. The launch was to happen in December.

Money raised from the marathon is to be used in building a Mama Sarah Obama school in K’Ogelo village. Mama Sarah Obama didn’t take the letter she received from one Constance Gikonyo on behalf of Mama Margaret Kenyatta telling her that the First Lady would not attend the 2014 version of the marathon.

The organisers of K’Ogelo marathon believe that the first lady snatched the idea to launch her own First Lady half marathon which is scheduled to happen on March 8th 2015.

The marathon is managed through the Mama Sarah Obama Foundation which has already seen more than Ksh 10 million in donations.
