Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has summoned Marsabit county politicians over incidences of violence in the area.
According to the commission’s preliminary reports, the clashing parties were affiliated to Frontier Alliance Party gubernatorial candidate, Ukur Kanacho and Jubilee party’s Mohamed Mohamud.
The two candidates are gunning for the same seat. Their supporters threw stones at each other at Moi Girls’ grounds before the President’s arrival.
