Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s personal assistant Michael Oyamo has been transferred to Nairobi where he will charged at around 2 PM.
Oyamo was being held at Homa Bay Police Station but due to the seriousness of the matter.
According to Citizen, the suspect in Sharon Otieno’s murder was a no show at the Homa Bay High Court where his lawyers waited for him.
His lawyer June Ashioya is said to have gone looking for him at the station where a crowd was already forming.
On Monday, members of the public were baying for blood as he appeared before the Senior Magistrate.
He was denied bail and is supposed to take a plea.
