Let me assure you that Miguna Miguna is very fine. Sources within the police and some who have access to him have told me that he is well fed and healthy despite rumours that he is sick after some poisoning.

Some also alleged that he is dead with the government lost on how to handle the aftermath of this. Hogwash!!! Miguna is well and will be produced in court as ordered.

Miguna’s predicament in police custody is being worsened by his character. He is abrasive and doesn’t understand how to win allies in the unlikely places.

Like Raila, Miguna is one of those few people who would look down upon someone because they are less educated or earns less. He has frequently called the police names and openly insulted them.

If you leave me in any detention anywhere, in 5 minutes, all those cops will be my friend and they will smuggle food for me and keep me comfortable while also sharing all details of my detention with the outside world.

I am told that Miguna really berated the “uneducated, uncouth and despotic” police officers who were handling his incarceration. In fact, I am told that a good number of them are very unhappy with them because he insults them all the time.

They have promised to teach him a lesson.

Guys, if you are fighting the system, focus on the bosses but stop treating the junior officers as your enemy. Treat them with respect even when you don’t agree with their actions. Treat judges, court clerks, prosecutors and investigating officers as allies in the fight against a broken system.

Never be arrogant and rude to someone who is already frustrated by his/her working conditions. Treat all cops, CID officers and judiciary officers as partners. Disagree with their actions but remember that you need to use them to fight the system.

    They are not enemies.
