The opposition has been forced to cancel its ‘dress rehearsal’ rally ahead of NASA leader, Raila Odinga’s grand return from his UK, US trips.
The rally was meant to take place at the Kamukunji grounds later on Thursday but the police have sealed off the area.
The rally the organizers said was going to contribute to the journey towards ‘ensuring electoral justice and putting to an end the evil culture of sham elections with predetermined outcomes.’

The police on Monday morning blocked journalists from getting into JKIA where the opposition leaders were meant to hold a presser ahead of Odinga’s return on Friday.
The police said that no politician would access the airport on Friday.
NASA supporters were invited for the grand return and were going to walk to the airport followed by a rally at Uhuru Park.
