On form Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has bagged the Professional Footballers Association player of the month award for August.

The Senegal international ward off competition from Sergio Aguero and Benjamin Mendy (Man City) and Tottenham’s Lucas Moura to win the prestigious award.

Mane netted thrice in the month including a brace against West Ham United and another against Crystal Palace as the Reds maintained a perfect run in the new season.
