Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has dismissed a series of edited posters circulating online, saying they misrepresent her political intentions ahead of the 2027 General Election.

In a statement, Passaris said she will have completed her second and final term as Woman Representative by 2027 and emphasized that the affirmative action seat should be taken up by another woman.

She further clarified that she has not endorsed any candidate for the position, calling the circulating materials “manipulated graphics” aimed at creating confusion.

“It is far too early for that, and I will not be drawn into political games, misinterpretations, or manipulated graphics,” she said, adding that as a senior ODM member, she will respect the party’s final decision when the nomination process begins.

Passaris also addressed speculation about her wider political allegiance, stating that her personal endorsement for the 2027 presidency is President William Ruto, citing his leadership style, focus, hard work and what she described as a transformational agenda for Kenya and the African continent.

She reiterated that her priority remains service delivery and contributing to what she called Kenya’s transition “from politics to prosperity.”

Passaris is currently serving her second term as Nairobi Woman Representative.
