52-seater AGC Lokichar Secondary school bus overturned between Kabarnet and Iten on Friday, killing three people.
Baringo police commander Peter Ndung’u said the three died on the spot in the morning accident.The driver is said to have lost control of the bus that veered off the road and rolled down the 200 metre cliff.
Ten casualties, including the driver, are in Intensive Care Unit at Baringo County Referral Hospital.
The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital.
According to Kenya Red Cross, one person is still trapped in the overturned bus.
