A Kakamega county resident has killed his cousin for being a strong supporter of Raila Odinga in the forthcoming elections.
According to police report, the man from Ikolomani came home drunk and started threatening his relatives in the homestead while armed with a panga.
His cousin Dennis Luke told him to stop the threats and tried to snatch the panga from him.
He hacked Dennis Luke to death in the fracas and tried to escape. However, he was immediately overpowered and arrested.
