The National Lands Commission Chairman, Mohammed Swazuri has been released on a KSh3.5 million bail and a KSh6 Million bond with a surety of the same amount.

He is not allowed to be in contact with any of the witnesses or officers involved in the case.

The two were among 17 persons arraigned before Magistrate Lawrence Mugambi of the Anti-Corruption Court for illegally facilitating the payment of Sh221.3 million in compensation for the acquisition of land for the Standard Gauge Railway.
