Tottenham Hotspur thumped Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford in Monday night Premier League action to hand them their second loss in three matches.

Brazilian Lucas moura grabbed a brace with Harry Kane netting the other for the Reds’ 50th loss in the English Premier League.

Kenya’s Harambee Stars skipper and Hotspurs midfielder Victor Wanyama who is recovering from an injury did not feature in the game.

United are now placed 13th in the 20-team table standings with three points, six off joints leaders Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Watford.

The loss was United boss Jose Mourinho’s biggest home defeat in all competitions as a manager.

And for the first time in his career, the Portuguese has now lost two opening three games in a league season.

We work very, very well during the week, we prepared the games very well, we played very well, the players had a fantastic attitude,” Mourinho said.
