The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced new job and internship opportunities for qualified Kenyans.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, TSC Acting CEO Eveleen Mitei advertised five senior positions. The commission is seeking to fill the roles of Deputy Director ICT – System & Innovation, Deputy Director – Information Security, Deputy Director – Labour & Industrial Relations, Deputy Director – Security Services, and Assistant Director – Security Services.
“Detailed job descriptions are posted on the TSC website,” the notice read.
TSC invited interested and qualified applicants to submit their applications online through the commission’s recruitment portal at www.tsc.go.ke by 11:59 p.m. on September 9, 2025.
Alongside the job vacancies, TSC also announced a one-year internship programme for five young people in the field of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
“In line with the Government Internship Policy and Guidelines for the Public Service, the Commission intends to offer internship opportunities to qualified youth in ICT to gain practical work experience which will improve their competencies and competitiveness in their career life,” the notice stated.
The commission clarified that the internship will not translate into automatic employment at TSC.
