Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has accused his Kiambu counterpart, Ferdinand Waititu of copying his examinations while in campus.

The two county bosses were in Kenya Methodist University (KeMu). Sonko graduated with a Bachelors in Business administration back in 2015 and Baba Yao in 2017 with a Master of Business Administration, human resource management option.

On Tuesday, the Nairobi governor castigated Baba Yao who on Monday sent Twitter into a frenzy after he asked the government to stop demolishing property built on riparian land and instead “move the rivers.”

“Or May be he does not know what is the definition of a Riparian land and that’s why even in campus he was copying me during CATS,” Sonko said on Facebook.

He also asked Waititu to concentrate on his county, adding that no one will be spared when it comes to reclaiming public land.

“Even Weston; My Buru buru Casurina cocobeach plot, Taj mall and many other buildings shall not be spared if found to be on riparian or public land,” he continued.

He also demanded that the Baba Yao explains to the people “the status of a petrol station constructed on a grabbed public access at the junction of Mihango and Njiru.”

In an article published in a local daily on April 29, 2013 the former Kabete MP was accused of invading a 50-acre parcel of land valued at over Sh1 billion.

The former legislator was again in an article dated February 6, 2015 said to have 10 acres belonging to Sahihi Housing Ltd located in Nairobi’s Hurlingham area.

The state has vowed to keep up the fight against corruption as President Uhuru Kenyatta seeks to leave behind a solid legacy and achieve the Big Four Agenda.
