Wazir Chacha, the man that was accused of extorting members of parliament and sending them nude pictures has been arrested in Tanzania. DCIO George Kinoti confirmed the arrest.
The man was on the police radar after he was found to be the one behind scamming of members of parliament under the name of Murang’a woman representative Sabina Chege. The man sent distress messages to members of parliament pretending to be Sabina Chege and managed to extort money from them.
Wazir Chacha has also been accused of seducing female legislators through sending them texts messages. He was previously in a relationship with former legislator Dr. Cecilia Ng’etich who she said dumped him on Valentines day
Dr. Cecila accused the 25 year old man of being in the country illegally and was using false documents.
He was formerly an employer under the devolution Ministry which was headed by Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru.
