A building in Nairobi’s Westlands area has gone up in flames.
The building, yet to be occupied has been identified as The Promenade located along General Mathenge drive.

Emergency responders are already at the scene of incident where other reports indicate that at least seven people have sustained injuries.
Others, reports indicate are still trapped in the building.
It is not yet clear what caused the afternoon fire.
