    Nyamira County Officials Die After Speeding Lorry Crashed Their Car

    Four Nyamira County government officials succumbed to injuries on Monday morning following a gruesome accident.

    The incident, that claimed the workers’ lives, occurred in Sironga, along the Nyamira- Kericho highway.

    The four died after a speeding lorry crashed the car which they were travelling in.

    Two of the workers are said to have died on the spot while the other two died at Nyamira County and Referral Hospital.

    Speaking on the unfortunate morning incident, Nyamira county police commander Hassan Osman noted that the four died as a result of severe head injuries and excessive bleeding.

    He noted that the police have already launched investigations into the accident.
