    State Agencies Advertise Over 100 Job Vacancies

    Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) have advertised more than 100 job vacancies, as published in the MyGov publication on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

    The positions span multiple sectors, including education, healthcare, business, engineering, and public service.

    Agro-Chemical and Food Company Limited has announced seven job openings for managerial roles. Interested applicants can visit www.acfc.co.ke under the careers section for more details. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

    New Kenya Co-operative Creameries (KICC) is looking to recruit a Chief Manager for Sales & Marketing. Candidates are encouraged to visit www.newkcc.co.ke for a detailed job description.

    Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) has also announced several vacancies in both academic and administrative roles.

    In the administrative sector, the university is looking to hire a Chief Security Officer, a Senior Legal Officer, a Computer Programmer, and a Senior Administrative Assistant for HR/Payroll. There are also openings for various security-related positions, as well as plumbers, electricians, drivers, and assistant procurement officers.

    On the academic front, the School of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences has vacancies for lecturers in Educational Foundations, Religion, Early Childhood Development, History, Psychology, and Philosophy. The School of Engineering and Technology is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and lecturers in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics, and Civil Engineering. The School of Business and Economics is looking to recruit a lecturer in Entrepreneurship, while the School of Informatics and Innovative Systems has positions for lecturers specializing in Data Science and Information Systems.

    Additionally, the School of Health Sciences has an opening for a Senior Lecturer in Nursing, and the School of Agricultural and Food Sciences is looking to hire a Tutorial Fellow in Food Security and Consumer Economics.

    Applicants must submit a detailed application letter, CV, and certified copies of academic and professional certificates. Shortlisted candidates will need clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority, Higher Education Loans Board, and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

    The application deadline is March 4, 2025, with submissions sent via email to recruitmentfeb25@jooust.ac.ke or delivered in hard copy to the university. The university emphasized that it is an equal opportunity employer and does not charge fees for processing applications.

    The National Crime Research Centre (NCRC) is also hiring two Principal Researchers. Interested candidates can apply online through www.crimeresearch.go.ke by March 11, 2025.

    Additionally, Kenya Biovax Institute Limited has posted 14 job vacancies. Applicants must apply via the e-recruitment portal at recruitment.biovax.go.ke. Hard copy and email applications will not be considered. The deadline for applications is March 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM EAT.

    The Human Resource Management Professionals Examinations Board (HRMPEB) is also looking to hire a Human Resource Management Officer. Full details can be accessed at www.hrmpeb.or.ke.

    Interested applicants are advised to carefully review job descriptions and application guidelines on the respective websites.
