Peter Munya, governor Meru county has joined the bandwagon that has been warning the President about his deputy.
It seems like the reason as to why Uhuru Kenyatta will lose in the August poll will be William Ruto.
Ruto who has been involved in multiple corruption cases, has been termed by Munya and opposition’s Kalonzo Musyoka as the reason as to why Kenyans will vote out the President.
Kalonzo has called the deputy president a serial liar who does not respect other political players.
Speaking on Sunday, June 11, in Meru while campaigning for his re-election bid, Munya claimed that Meru people hate Ruto just like other regions in the country hate him.
“Shida ambayo Uhuru ako nayo hapa Meru ni mtu anaitwa William Ruto. Hiyo shida si Meru pekee. Hata Rift Valley ndiye shida, Kisii ndiye shida, Kisumu ndiye shida, Western ndiye shida. Shida yetu ni huyo mtu anaitwa namba two,” Munya said amid ululations.
Ruto who is looking to inherit the presidency in 2022 will be faced with a lot of opposition from all political divides.
