Police in Kayole, Nairobi, have arrested two suspects and recovered several electronic devices believed to have been stolen.

Officers from Soweto Police Station in Kayole Sub-County conducted a security operation targeting individuals suspected of dealing in illicitly acquired property.

The National Police Service (NPS) said the operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of 10 functional mobile phones, three laptops and 18 assorted non-functional mobile phones.

The suspects were taken into custody at Soweto Police Station pending further processing and arraignment in court.

The recovered electronic devices have been secured as exhibits as investigations continue to establish their source and identify their rightful owners.

“The National Police Service reiterates its commitment to continuing relentlessly with such targeted operations across the country in order to dismantle criminal networks dealing in stolen property,” police said.
