Migori governor Okoth Obado will remain in custody until Friday October 12, when his case and bail hearing will proceed. The prosecution said that they were not ready to proceed because they had received applications from the defense and they were yet to respond.

The three will remain in custody as a result of the adjournment. The governor had applied to be released on bail on medical grounds.

Governor Okath Obado’s case has been merged with that of Micheal Oyamo and Kaspul Obiero . Justice Lessit allowed the application to have the three cases combined.
