Former Budalangi MP, Ababu Namwamba will serve in the Jubilee government should the Supreme Court uphold Uhuru Kenyatta’s win, Water CS Eugene Wamalwa has revealed.
The CS assured Ababu and former Bungoma Governor, Ken Lusaka of rewards form the government for their support during the 2017 elections.
”Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto do not forget their friends and you will soon see for yourselves,” he said on Wednesday.
He lauded Namwamba for holding his ground even in a NASA perceived stronghold.
”It was really a hard task for my brother Ababu to oppose Raila Odinga in his area. He tried and although he lost his seat, he will have a state job.”
He also said the Luhya community is this time round a partner with a stake in the Jubilee government.

The Water CS also lauded NASA for choosing to go to the courts to settle the electoral results issue and said that it was a step in the right direction.
Namwamba lost his seat to Raphael Wanjala of ODM in the August poll. His loss is attributed to his abandoning the orange party and decamping to Jubilee.
