    Ambassador Kimani, Lawyer Paul Mwangi To Lead Raila, Uhuru Unity Initiative

    The agreement that NASA leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta who met today have agreed to work together to ensure that the country is united beyond political affiliations.

    Here is how the agreement will work;

    The president the opposition leader will form a joint committee to implement their shared objectives. The committee will be led by Ambassador Martin Kimani and lawyer Paul Mwangi who represents the NASA coalition.

    The official launch of this initiative will be launched soon.

    The agreement was signed by both Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta and it has nine agendas that that are geared towards promotion of peace.

    The two were congratulated by Deputy president William Ruto who said that the two gentlemen had taken a noble step for the good of the country.

    ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi through his party  secretary general Barack Muluka said that they were not aware of Raila’s move to meet the president but  had only heard rumors.

    Self declared NRM generals rejected the reconciliation as well stating that the two were a representation of a culture of impunity.
