Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru wants the Daily Nation to pull down the article insinuating that she, misappropriated President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election campaign money. Nyeri Governor, Wahome Gakuru has died at the Thika Level 5 Hospital. The county boss was involved in an early morning accident along the Murang’a-Thika road, near Kabati. An officer attached to the Presidential Escort Unit was on Sunday arrested after stealing a colleague’s gun. The GSU officer based at the Ruiru General Service Unit stole on Saturday a Jericho pistol and tried selling it at Sh100,000 to a broker in Kawangware. The pistol was taken out of the armory with 15 bullets.
