Jambo Jet airline has been sued by a woman who claims that a male flight attendant on August 22, 2016 poured a hot beverage on her thigh, sustaining severe injuries. Rebecca Wanyonyi now wants a Sh214,600 compensation and an unspecified amount of money for pain and suffering. Ms Wanyonyi also wants interests on damages and the cost of the suit. Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru wants the Daily Nation to pull down the article insinuating that she, misappropriated President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election campaign money. Nyeri Governor, Wahome Gakuru has died at the Thika Level 5 Hospital. The county boss was involved in an early morning accident along the Murang’a-Thika road, near Kabati. An officer attached to the Presidential Escort Unit was on Sunday arrested after stealing a colleague’s gun. The GSU officer based at the Ruiru General Service Unit stole on Saturday a Jericho pistol and tried selling it at Sh100,000 to a broker in Kawangware.
