A family in Kakamega County was left in shock and grief after county officials forced them to exhume the body of their son who was buried in service uniform. According to reports, Martin Shikuku Alukoye, 31, was working with the Kakamega County Youth Service at the time of his death. Police officers are seeking to detain three suspected terror suspects for taking pictures of Villa Rosa Kempinski hotel in Nairobi. According to sergeant Joseph Mwiti who is attached to ATPU, the three were nabbed on suspicion of carrying out surveillance at the hotel for purposes of carrying out an attack. Detectives have launched a manhunt against robbers who broke into Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi’s house. The Judicial Service Commission has recommended the appointment of 20 judges to the Environment court and 10 judges to the Labour relations court. In a statement signed by Chief Justice David Maraga, the commission noted that they received 229 applications for the Environment court positions and 160 for the Labour court following a vacancy announcement on February 22 on the local dailies. The police have on Monday afternoon closed off the Nakuru – Naivasha highway at Stem Hotel near Pipeline area in Nakuru after a fuel tanker developed spillage. A Fly540 plane was forced to abort it’s take off after one of the plane’s tyre was stuck in a pothole in Manda Airport in Lamu.
