Activist Boniface Mwangi on Monday morning refused to give way to an unidentified ‘VIP’s’ motorcade along Lang’ata Road near Wilson Airport. In a video that he shared online, the defiant Mwangi affirmed that he could not give way to ‘entitled civil servants and politician’. Nominated Nyeri MCA Beth Nyawira Kimali has sued Consolata Hospital, Mathari over alleged medical negligence which led to the death of her unborn baby in 2013. According to the suit, Nyawira wants Ksh6 million in compensation for the death of the baby boy on October 23, following an emergency caesarean section. President Uhuru Kenyatta has noted that Ksh74 billion has been saved through Huduma Centers across the country. Speaking on Friday, the President stated that the 52 centers spread across Kenya has since its launch served over 24 million Kenyans. Three Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) of Nairobi have been summoned by the National Police Service over their alleged involvement with a militia group claimed to have links with Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko. Two directors have resigned from the embattled Nairobi Hospital board of management ahead of their Annual General Meeting(AGM). The two, Lady Justice Joyce Aluoch, and surgeon Dr Eric Kahugu, resigned citing personal reasons. The duo had just been recently appointed  to the board before suddenly resigning. The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary-General Wilson Sossion has called on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to probe the membership of the Kenya Women Teachers Association (Kewota). The Nominated MP also warned KNUT’s members against joining the lobby. Tanzanian crooner Khalid Mohamed popularly known as TID has been hospitalized after suffering sever injuries from an attack by unknown people. A 14-year old boy was on Wednesday charged with the theft of a motor vehicle in Kitengela town. The boy, who is this year’s KCPE candidate, was caught on CCTV in Milimani area walking stealthily towards a Toyota Premio in the company of others at 6:48pm when he got into the car and drove off seconds later. Pedestrians were on Wednesday afternoon startled after a woman stripped naked along Kimathi Street in Nairobi. Kiambu High Court Judge Christine Meoli has recused herself from hearing a case where lawyer Assa Nyakundi is accused of killing his son.
