Detectives are investigating an incident where a girl aged 11 was found murdered and her body dumped in a dam in Njambini, Nyandarua County. The body of the girl was discovered in a dam in Shobe area, Munyaka hours after she had gone missing. The body was found naked, having been suspected to have been abused, and had a deep cut on the throat, police said. The deceased was sent to a shop on May 24 and failed to return home. Detectives are investigating the sudden death of a Yemeni envoy in Nairobi. Police said Mohamed Nabil, 52 and who was an attaché at the Yemeni embassy in Nairobi collapsed in his house and died.
