Four people have been arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly killing American actor Johnny Wactor while trying to steal a part from his car. Three – Robert Barceleau, Leonel Gutierrez, and Sergio Estrada – were arrested for murder. A fourth, Frank Olano, faces a charge of accessory to murder, according to police. The father of 17-year-old Spanish football star Lamine Yamal has reportedly been stabbed multiple times in a car park. According to reports in Spanish media, Mounir Nasraoui was attacked in the coastal town of Mataró, north of Barcelona, on Wednesday night by a group of people he had spoken to earlier in the day. A leading lady of 1970s independent film has died. Gena Rowlands was best known for starring in intelligent, idiosyncratic films directed by her husband John Cassavetes. Rowlands died at the age of 94. Her death was confirmed by the office of Danny Greenberg, the representative for Rowlands’ son, Nick Cassavetes. No further details were provided. Wallace “Wally” Amos Jr., the founder of Famous Amos cookies, has died, his family said Wednesday. He was 88. He died “peacefully” at home following a battle with dementia, his family said. At least 17 people are missing after a boat they were using capsized at the Lake Turkana. The incident happened on Tuesday August 13 morning. The boat was carrying 19 people when it capsized, officials said. Only two survived after the incident. At least two al shabaab terror suspects were killed in a police raid at a makeshift camp in Digdiga area in Fafi within Garissa County. Police said several recoveries were made during the operation, including three AK47 rifles and ammunition, grenades, radios, indoctrination literature, AAA batteries, animal snare, and jerricans among others.
