Benedict Mberesero jumped to his death from the roof top of an apartment he had been staying for the last two years. The CEO of UnitedHealthcare was shot and killed in midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning, a law enforcement official said.  Brian Thompson was walking toward the New York Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, dressed in a suit and tie, to attend a UnitedHealthcare conference being held in the ballroom. Police in India say they have reached out for information to Elon Musk’s Starlink after they allegedly found drug smugglers using its satellite internet device to navigate Indian waters and reach the country’s shore.  Starlink claims to provide superfast broadband “almost anywhere on Earth”. At least five people were killed in a road accident that occurred in Subukia, Nakuru county on Tuesday night.  It involved a speeding truck with cargo. Police said a cargo truck carrying timber lost its direction and hit two people on a boda boda killing them. It then veered off the road and hit other pedestrians. In total, five people were dead. Detectives in Nyahururu seized 22,000 liters of suspected ethanol being transported from Malaba border towards Nairobi, in an operation. Police said at least two suspects who were ferrying the illicit cargo were arrested in the operation on December 3. Simpson confessing to the 1994 double murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, obtained as part of a search warrant in a separate investigation.
