Detectives Tuesday have arrested a house help linked to the murder of Kilifi County Fisheries and Blue Economy Chief Officer Rahab Karisa. Rahab was stabbed to death at her house in Kilifi on July 20. Police said the house help, Diana Momanyi, was arrested in Kakamega as she sought to escape to Uganda. An operation that was launched in parts of the North Rift to address cases of banditry will continue. This is four months after the Maliza Uhalifu Operation was launched in six major counties. Police are investigating an incident in which a houseboy is accused of stealing a pistol belonging to a retired military general in a village in Gatundu, Kiambu County. Police are investigating an incident in which a 77-year-old woman was killed in a fire incident in a village in Gatanga, Muranga County. The body of Lydia Wanjiku was found in her house long after a fire had consumed her house. The cause of the fire was not immediately established.
