Tesla has granted its chief executive Elon Musk $29bn (£21.7bn) worth of its shares, in an attempt to keep the billionaire at the firm. The move comes after a US court struck down his 2018 pay package, worth more than $50bn, ruling that it was “unfair to shareholders”. Two Burundian nationals were Monday charged in a Mombasa court with illegal possession and trade in wildlife trophies, contrary to Kenya’s wildlife conservation laws. Gakiza Sulemani and Nkunubumwe Celecius were arraigned before Senior Resident Magistrate David Odhiambo, and charged with dealing in 27 pieces of elephant tusks — classified by law as trophies from endangered species — without the required permit.
