Police are holding three people linked to a multi-million fraudulent online car dealers syndicate. According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the three including a lawyer identified as Moses Owino Angelo were nabbed on Tuesday night. 52 students at Salvation Army Kolanya Boys High School in Busia County have tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The students are among 60 people including six teachers and two support staff members who tested positive for the disease from 100 samples collected from the school. The office of the Attorney General is set to file an appeal against a High Court judgement that awarded former Youth and Gender Affairs Principal Secretary Lilian Omollo one shilling for wrongful dismissal. 724 more people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) from 5,085 samples tested in the last 24 hours, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said on Monday. This brings to 56,601 the number of confirmed positive cases in the country with Nairobi accounting for 362 of the cases confirmed in the last 24 hours.
