Activist Boniface Mwangi has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). According to Boniface Mwangi, they are headed to Central Police station. A 50-year-old woman and her Form-Three client are in police custody after attempting to procure an abortion in Bomet County. Police on Sunday night gunned down a man suspected of kidnapping  a girl in the sprawling Kiandutu slums, Thika. The suspect, 32-year-old Dennis Kimani Mwitheri better known by locals as Denno was traced by the officers following a tip-off from members of public. The accident, that happened near Mtito Andei, involved a saloon car and a truck.
