    Three Killed In Nairobi-Mombasa Highway Head-On Crash

    Three people have been confirmed dead and one injured after a road accident at Kenani area along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.

    The accident, that happened near Mtito Andei, involved a saloon car and a truck.

    Makueni County Police Commander Joseph Napeiyan confirmed the incident, saying the Nairobi-bound car crashed head-on with the oncoming truck.

    The officer said the three victims were travelling in the saloon car.

    In March 26, an accident at Masimba area along the Nairobi-Mombasa road claimed three lives and left several injured.

    Makueni County Commissioner Mohammed Maalim said the injured were taken to various hospital including Makindu Hospital.

    The accident involved a 14 seater matatu and a lorry which collided head-on.
