Sudan Military Council has revealed that it will not handover ousted President Oman Al-Bashir to the International Criminal Court (ICC). Following the military coup on Thursday, which ended the 30-year rule of Al-Bashir, many felt that the ouster had exposed him to arrest by ICC, after the being deprived the office that gave him immunity for over a decade. A Nanyuki court has ordered Laikipia County Jubilee Party Chairman Geoffrey Githinji to pay Sh300,000 for an election petition he lost. Githinji had petitioned the nomination of Members of County Assembly (MCAs) in his county. He lost the petition. Armed gunmen have shot dead a police officer guarding two Cuban doctors in Mandera town. During the early morning attack, the two doctors were abducted. The medics have been identified as Doctors Landy Rodriguez (a surgeon) and Herera Correa (general practitioner). Police Spokesperson Charles Owino confirmed the attack saying police have launched investigations into the unfortunate incident. A postmortem examination on the body of Nakuru GK Prison warder has revealed that the deceased was strangled to death. According to an autopsy report by Government pathologist Titus Ngulungu, the body of Caroline Jepchirchir Chesire had blood clots on the neck, nose, tongue and on both hands. Detectives have seized several litres of illegal petroleum hidden in Ruai, Nairobi County.
