K24 news anchor Betty Kyallo has revealed that she never expected Ex-husband Dennis Okari back into her life after their break up.
In a recent interview with Pulse, the bubbly anchor revealed that she had long moved on after they parted ways.
“I moved on and it’s not like I was sitting here waiting for Dennis to come back. That door was closed,” she said.
Last week, Betty’s Ex-spouse exchanged vows with Naomi Joy at the Ridgeways Church.
Invited to the ceremony were close friends and family.
On if she called to wish the young couple a happy marriage, Betty revealed that her wishes couldn’t make any difference, and so she opted not to say a word to the NTV prime time anchor.
“It was their wedding and their private day, not mine. They are happy and I don’t know if it would make a lot of difference if I tried to involve myself.”
According to Betty, the wedding moment didn’t matter as she was having a good time at Enashipai Resort in Naivasha, a place she recently posted to her social media pages pictures of her and a man, whose face wasn’t visible, having a good time.
“I have a life and what was happening at Enashipai is part of it. I honestly had a good time there.”
Asked if the man in her company was her new lover, the TV siren didn’t give a clear answer but acknowledged she had a good time.
However, in the middle of the interview, the lass revealed she is a single parent and if any man came into her life she wouldn’t mind.
“Let’s just say I had a fine day. On all the rest, you will be the first to know. I promise.
If he shows up today and we are good to go, well and good. If he shows up tomorrow and we felt right about it, then why not. I am ready to settle down and get loved.”
Further, Betty, a mother of one, disclosed that her break-up with Dennis was one of the most devastating things in her life.
“I thought of myself, ‘it is only days since millions of people witnessed our union and now this is happening’. Besides the pain inside me, and the thought of our baby, I could see the world looking at me for answers to questions, answers I probably didn’t have. It was so much pressure and now I can tell you would I have known this would happen, I would have kept my private issues, the wedding included, to myself.”

Betty revealed that she lost many friends after the divorce, but expressed gratitude to a supportive family that gave her a shoulder to lean on.
“At the point, Ivanna (her daughter) became the most fundamental part of my life. Everything had crumbled into pieces and friends whom I thought were everlasting cronies left me. I even had to change the places we used to hang out. Besides family and God, there was literally nothing else to hold on to.”
She advised women going through hard relationships not to compromise making life changing decisions in life.
“At any given moment, put yourself first and make decisions that are good for you and the people around you. I think personally about things that are fundamentally good for me. People stay in bad marriages where women are battered daily and are afraid of moving on because of how the society will judge them. Now, that is stupid. If it’s not working, move on. God knows!”
