    Budalangi Residents Protest, Demand Release Of MP Raphael Wanjala

    Supporters of Budalangi MP Raphael Wanjala have taken to the streets to protest his released . They have accused the former MP and current Chief administrative Secretary Ababu Namwamba of being behind the arrest.

    He was arrested in Kisumu on Saturday afternoon following unrest between his supporters and those of Ababu Namwamba. The residents have accused Ababu of meddling in the affairs of the constituency.

    Raphael Wanjala was arrested on suspicion that the rallied youth to prevent the former MP from accessing the dais to address the crowd during the tour organised by the transport CAS Chris Obure.
