    David Desrosiers was born in August 1980 in Montreal, Canada. He developed an interest in music at a young age and later became known for his energetic stage presence and backing vocals. Desrosiers joined Simple Plan in 2000, shortly after the band was formed in 1999.

    Rise to Fame with Simple Plan

    Simple Plan achieved major commercial success after releasing their debut studio album, No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls, in 2002. The album was a breakout hit, reaching No. 2 in Canada and producing popular singles that helped establish the band internationally.

    Their follow-up album, Still Not Getting Any… (2004), was even more successful, peaking at No. 2 in Canada and No. 3 on the US charts. The album included hit songs such as “Welcome to My Life,” which reached No. 1 in Canada and became one of the band’s signature tracks.
