Dennis Oliech seems to be back to rags from his football riches. The former football star is living a life of misery and drinking cheap liquors the whole day after having squandered all the money he made from football.
Known by nicknames like “the Menace” or “Wuod Mary”, Dennis was once loved by many in the sports world that at one point he was declared to be one of the most promising players alongside Manchester United star, Wayne Rooney. But that is no more as he is now back to Dagoretti where he ferried his belongings and is said to be back to living with his ailing mother.
Despite being the current Betway ambassador where he is being paid a more than Ksh 200,00 per month, the former football star cannot just keep his hands off cheap liquor and dating underage girls. He was recently evicted from his rental abode in Valley Arcade where he was paying Ksh 140,000 per month.
It is rumoured within the betting industry that the betting company has not been getting value from Oliech’s endorsement making it hard for them to continue with the relationship.
Dennis played for football clubs like Al-Arabi (2003–2005 ), Nantes (2005–2007), Auxerre (2007–2012), Ajaccio (2013–2015) before ending his career in Dubai CSC in 2015. He started his career with Dagoretti Santos and Mathare United before the French side Marseille spotted him and called him for a trial. It is whispered that Mathare United boss then, Bob Munro blocked the move hoping for better things for Dennis.Â
The former star once earned more than Ksh 100million in salaries each season and bought expensive pairs shoes costing more than Ksh 115,000 each and cars worth Ksh 12million.

Coupled with the above, Oliech’s family has had its fair share of troubles as his mother, Mama Mary Auma, was once diagnosed with Gastric Cancer and had to be flown to France where the star spent over Ksh 20million treating her. The siblings which were not doing much with their lives also started fighting for the football star’s wealth in court battles which are still ongoing.
Oliech sold all his assets to sustain his lifestyle while not making any effort to invest. All his investments have gone down the drain in a life of women and alcohol. Dennis was once the high flying star of European football. What he didn’t realise was that he needed to mature at some point as he had a short term to play football after having cheated on his age.
With this, the European clubs he was playing for put him through a rigorous training as per the declared age while the star spent all his off pitch time seducing women online or partying everywhere.
